The stem shown has been coloured with non-toxic floral paints, dyes and preservatives so we advise that if you are using them in cake decoration, you take care in preventing them from making direct contact with your cakes/food by wrapping the stems prior to inserting them in your cakes or removing the stems and applying a food safe skewer.
 
Dried Flowers can last indefinately if looked after correctly, please store out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry and dark place until you are ready to use them.
